14-Month Temporary Contract

Data Entry Support

KENT & ESSEX MUTUAL INSURANCE is recruiting for two (2) – three (3) Data Entry Support positions (14-month contract position). The Data Entry Support team will work closely with members of the Underwriting and IT teams to help with our Guidewire (Core System) conversion process.

  • Operate data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data
  • Confirm, corroborate, and remove unnecessary data, or combine data from several sources
  • Confidentially and appropriately collect and disseminate information, ensuring that sensitive, proprietary, and confidential information is released only to those authorized
  • In office position – must be able to commute to our office daily in Chatham, Ontario a minimum of three days per week
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Proven ability to consistently demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize needs, and expedite tasks upon request
  • Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changes and responsibilities
  • A reliable team player who collaborates effectively and positively with peers and other teams
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the team
  • Possess a positive attitude towards change and process improvement
  • Tech savvy with the ability to learn and use new software with ease
  • Post secondary education in a related field, or equivalent experience
